Here, the North of England’s best UKG, Jungle, House and other genres getting spun will all be documented through the exploration of the events and personalities that make the scene so exciting. Primarily located in Newcastle Upon Tyne, a bustling hub for talent and a good time, the aim is to shed light into the behind the scenes of the music that soundtrack your nights out.
From up-coming to veteran Blind in One Ear, Deaf in One Eye will be inclusive of everyone in the scene, ranging from DJs and producers to organisers and advertisers, in order to display the wide array of character present and the hard work that goes into getting the music to your ear drums. All while not forgetting about the most important role… you, the audience yourself.
Sharing photography, interviews and videos to make a hub worthy for the ever expanding DJing world, these works will guide and inform you on what’s happening behind both the decks and closed doors. For fans of the genres, great nights out and those aspiring to be a part of the scene themselves, this is for you. For fans of music more generally, or those interested in following fun, dedicated individuals, this is also for you.
