Countries all over the world are sending any help that they are able to, whether that is military ordnance, clothes and necessary things for the refugees, or simply spread awareness of the situation. Ukraine needs funding to keep standing against the invasion and fighting back. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statista.com\/chart\/27015\/number-of-currently-active-sanctions-by-target-country\/#:~:text=In%20the%20wake%20of%20its,states%20on%20February%2022%2C%202022.\">Russia has become the most sanctioned country<\/a> in the world. And yet while the civilians are suffering, there are still people in both countries, who are benefitting from this tragic war. Even with the currency decreasing with the sanctions, that kind of money could be life changing, especially during this conflict. However the Russian oligarchs are not eager to donate the money to those in need of it in Ukraine, or even anywhere else, in case they are not allowed to send it to Ukraine because of the current censorship veiling Russia. Those little men in big suits would much rather keep it for themselves, and wait for some more to fall in their pockets.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"638\" src=\"https:\/\/journalists.org.uk\/elisaveta-semasheva\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23037\/2023\/12\/UKRAINE-INTERVIEW-PIC-e1659001634126-1024x638.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24\" srcset=\"https:\/\/journalists.org.uk\/elisaveta-semasheva\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23037\/2023\/12\/UKRAINE-INTERVIEW-PIC-e1659001634126-1024x638.webp 1024w, https:\/\/journalists.org.uk\/elisaveta-semasheva\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23037\/2023\/12\/UKRAINE-INTERVIEW-PIC-e1659001634126-300x187.webp 300w, https:\/\/journalists.org.uk\/elisaveta-semasheva\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23037\/2023\/12\/UKRAINE-INTERVIEW-PIC-e1659001634126-768x479.webp 768w, https:\/\/journalists.org.uk\/elisaveta-semasheva\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23037\/2023\/12\/UKRAINE-INTERVIEW-PIC-e1659001634126.webp 1428w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesofisrael.com\/zelenskys-wife-says-he-forgot-to-mention-he-was-running-for-president\/\">https:\/\/www.timesofisrael.com\/zelenskys-wife-says-he-forgot-to-mention-he-was-running-for-president\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And while the invaded country would benefit from any help it can get, their former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm3305952\/\">comedian<\/a> president is allowing a million dollars to slip away from under his nose, as his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/olena-zelenska-first-lady-ukraine-million-dollar-shopping-trip-new-york-cartier-1832373\">wife throws that money away on jewellery<\/a>, while on a trip to America to request further funding to \u201cdefend their country\u201d. Ukraine is under attack, and its leader is closing a 1.1 million bill at Cartier.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will always be people who benefit from the war. Sometimes it will be a win-win situation, as it is in London mayor <a href=\"https:\/\/kyivindependent.com\/london-mayor-agrees-to-send-scrap-cars-to-ukraine\/\">Sadiq Khan\u2019s recent decision to send old vehicles to Ukraine<\/a>, which otherwise would be scrapped, as they no longer met the ULEZ. However even when in the end, that part of the UK would benefit from the donation, as it would reduce <strong>unnecessary<\/strong> waste, the mayor\u2019s initial rejection of Kiev&#8217;s mayor\u2019s proposal for the donation due to it not benefitting Londoners, spoke to the way ultimately, every man looks out for himself. Whether they are in the country that is attacking, fighting back, or perhaps even impartial.
