Hi, I’m Castor, and I’m a student journalist. I love all sorts of media from lifestyle to culture, but my biggest passion is sport. I’ve covered a range of sports for Newcastle University’s student newspaper in my last three years at university, even being chosen as the student radio’s Head of Sport.
So why start this site?
This site will offer content about how sport impacts fans and communities, not just the athletes we see all the time. I want to provide an accessible view into the world of sports, particularly, for minority groups. From my experience in the past few years, it can be intimidating to explore and learn alone, especially if you don’t often see yourself represented in media.
