Academic Links

Course Pages

Each degree programme has its own webpage, where you can find pretty much all the information you may need. This includes a list of modules and links to each module webpage that tells you about the module in detail.

––> Undergraduate

––> Postgraduate

Links to all postgraduate MCH courses, including Master’s and PhD, can be found here. As well as media, journalism, and public relations, the postgraduate courses cover museums, galleries, and heritage.

Box of Broadcasts

Box of Broadcasts (or BoB) is a great resource that allows you to access the content from dozens of national radio and TV stations for educational purposes. Simply sign in with your Newcastle University login details, and you can browse through the TV and radio guide from the previous month, and request programmes you wish to watch or listen to. You can even create playlists.

Lexis Nexis

Lexis Nexis is a newspaper archive where you can access newspaper articles from a wide range of news outlets from around the world. You can type in key words that you wish to find articles about, and then filter down the results by location, news outlet, date, etc. You can even specify where in the article you want the key words to be, such as in the headline or main body of text. The archive shows text only, so there are no images. Sign in with your university login details.
