They&#8217;re making massive losses on paper,&#8221; Thompson said. &#8220;The only ones that make money are the ones selling the clubs.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The financial pressure extends beyond individual ownership failures, with the Championship operating on what experts describe as a fundamentally broken business model.
