And maybe some inspiration for things you can do next week!
Monday
Starting the week out strong with…nothing. Sorry!
Monday involved a fantastic day holed up in the Philip Robinson before returning home to binge watch New Girl (available on Disney+).
Pretty sweet if you ask me.
Tuesday
Tuesday obviously involved the usual day of lectures before rushing home to get ready for the Media and Journalism Society winter ball!
And when I say I rushed, I mean it. I think I made it through the door and back out in about twenty minutes, a personal best for me.
The ball involved an evening at Slug and Lettuce, followed by Tropicana (it was dead on a Tuesday; never again) and then World Headquarters for GDT.

Overall, a pretty solid night.
Wednesday
Wednesday was for sports night! This week I found myself dressed as a cowboy, on the edge of hypothermia making my way to Soho.
Except when I got there, they tried to charge me £7 to get in and (as we all know by now) I believe that Soho is worth nowhere near that amount of money, so instead I called myself an uber home and proceeded to eat half a dozen hash browns while once again binge-watching New Girl.
Another week down as a non-attendee of Soho.
Thursday
On Thursday I went to see a friend of mine play in a netball match, which I honestly did not know I could even do, but you learn something everyday I guess.

We then, obviously, went to the pub afterwards for a quick pint at Luther’s.
Friday
After months of unsuccessful attempts to get onto a social badminton session, I finally managed it.
Me and my friend attended our first social badminton session and I have to say, we demolished it.
Okay, that might be a lie but we did have a lot of fun so it was definitely worth it, and it only cost £2 for an hour-long session (after the £5 membership).
The Weekend
Saturday was Christmas day! Or at least it was in my house.
Me and my house mates exchanged gifts in a secret Santa we had set up before making Christmas dinner for ourselves and some other friends.
And to be honest, it might have been the best Sunday roast I’ve had (sorry Gran).

The day and evening consisted of many Baileys hot chocolates, not one but two rounds of dinner, many rounds of heads up, which got increasingly more ridiculous and complicated as it went on, one very complicated game of Pictionary and one viewing of Home Alone 2 (the best Christmas film ever, argue with the wall).
Sunday was then obviously spent recovering and cleaning after the chaos of the day before (the house looked like a bomb had been dropped on it, even writing about it is upsetting me).
